Rituals and Ceremonies
Based on my decades of experience creating rituals of all sorts, I know that there are many ways to celebrate any of life’s transitions. My approach to creating a rite for any occasion is to work closely with you to create the ceremony that you desire.
I can bring my experience in ritual creation, my knowledge of rites of passage, and my extensive library of poetry and prose from all over the world to our discussions, but ultimately it is your ceremony. My primary goal is to help make your ceremony one that is unique to you and your situation and will bring you everything you desire to mark your special occasion.
As an ordained Interfaith Minister I can help you create a ceremony that spans the range from very religious to completely secular and anything in between, depending on your wishes.
I will be happy to serve you in any capacity from acting as a consultant to writing the ritual to officiating your ceremony, or all of the above, depending on what works best for you.
I can help you
- clarify the theme of your ceremony.
- create the outline so that its parts flow smoothly.
- decide on the readings and/or music you want to include.
- create any special words you wish spoken.
- officiate at your ceremony.
The cost for my services varies, depending on how you would like me to assist you and whether travel is involved.
