Spiritual Initiation
Although many people who are deeply spiritual are affiliated with a particular religion, there are others who are on a very personal spiritual path. Such people—and there are increasing numbers in our society—are often eclectic, drawing from more than one religious tradition and not identifying with any single specific religion.
Confirmations, ordinations, initiations, and other vows and rites specific to a particular religion and officiated by that religion’s acknowledged leaders satisfy the needs of their adherents when they make a particular religious commitment. But those who wish to mark their deepening commitment to their own spiritual path yet have no particular tradition or spiritual leader who can help them honor that new stage in their spiritual journey may find themselves in a quandary as to how to deeply honor their spiritual growth.
Are you on your own unique spiritual path, have reached a particular stage of growth where you wish to honor and celebrate a new awareness or commitment, yet have no specific spiritual leader to help you mark your transition? If this describes you, contact me. As an ordained Interfaith minister with years of ritual experience and a familiarity with many faith traditions, I can help you create, and if you wish help you celebrate, a rite to honor you and your journey on your personal spiritual path.
